GiGi's Playhouse Rochester Postpones 5th Annual "Red Carpet Affair" Gala

Rochester, NY — March 12, 2020 — GiGi Playhouse Rochester president Jennifer Bustamante announced today that the sold-out, 5th Annual “Red Carpet Affair” Gala, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at the Joseph A. Floreano Riverside Convention Center, is being postponed following recommendations announced this morning by the Monroe County Health Department.

" We have been closely following the coronavirus situation, which has been impacting many events and activities in our region and around the world," said Bustamante. "With the recommendations announced this morning by local health and government officials advising people to reconsider holding gatherings of more than 50 people, we have decided to postpone The Gala in the interest of protecting the health of attendees and our entire community. We will work with the Convention Center to find an alternative date and will update all attendees when a new date is confirmed. We thank everyone for their continued support of GiGi’s Playhouse Rochester."

Approximately 500 people were expected to attend the sold-out Gala. An alternative date will be announced as soon as it is available.
