GiGi's Playhouse Rochester "Under the Sea" Gala Tickets On Sale Now

ROCHESTER, NY, Feb. 7, 2022GiGi's Playhouse Rochester, a nonprofit Down syndrome achievement center, announced that tickets are on sale now for the 5th annual gala taking place on Saturday, March 19. This is the most important fundraising event of the year for GiGi's and the first time since 2019 that it has an in-person component due to the pandemic. This year's theme is "Under the Sea."

Tickets are now on sale at gigisplayhouse.org/rochester/gala. Tickets are limited due to capacity restrictions.

GiGi's hopes to raise $75,000 at the Gala, to support free programming for people with Down syndrome in the Rochester region.

"We are thrilled to be hosting our gala in person again after a two-year hiatus," said GiGi's Playhouse Rochester President, Jennifer Bustamante. "This year's enchanted celebration will dive into the wonders of GiGi's where our guests will discover a whole new world of inspiring stories and show our community how we're making a splash!"

A cocktail reception and silent auction will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a presentation with guest speaker, Michelle Hughes, Sr. Leader Internal Operations for GiGi's Playhouse Inc., followed by dinner, a live auction, music, dancing and casino tables.

GiGi's Exclusive Beer, T21 IPA is Back by Popular Demand!

In addition to the gala's fundraising goals, GiGi's is bringing back beer brewed by Rochester's Sager Beer Works. T21 IPA will feature 3 parts malts, 2 part hops and 1 part yeast honoring the three copies of chromosome 21 that occurs when a person has Down syndrome. It is available now for pre-order and pick-up from Sager Beer Works, 46 Sager Dr., Rochester. Four-packs can be purchased for $20. Sager will donate $8 to GiGi's for every four-pack purchased.
